Open Source License
Granite Data Services is an avid supporter of open source software. All GraniteDS products are open source and mostly released under the (LGPL 2.1).
However, the following advanced products are released under the (GPL 3.0):
- Advanced Flex Library
- Advanced JavaFX Library
- Advanced Android Library
- UDP Real-Time Libraries
Although the GPL 3.0 has many terms, the most important is that you must provide the source code of your application to your users so they can be free to modify your application for their own needs.
Commercial Software License
This is the appropriate option if you want to use our GPL 3.0 Client Libraries to develop commercial applications whose source code you want to keep proprietary.

Under this agreement, we basically grant you the right to use our GPL 3.0 software without complying to the terms and conditions of the GPL 3.0 license, which is generally unsuitable for enterprise applications. You may then release your products under the licensing scheme of your choice.
